Day 1 – Manali → Jagatsukh → Laka Base Camp


  1. Depart Manali by private vehicle to Jagatsukh trailhead.
  2. Begin trek through pine–oak forest ascending into alpine meadows.
  3. Enjoy a packed lunch overlooking the valley.
  4. Reach Laka Base Camp; pitch tents and refresh with hot tea.
  5. Short acclimatization walk to nearby ridge for panoramic views of Hanuman Tibba.
  6. Campfire dinner and overnight in dome tents at Base Camp.


Day 2 – Laka Base Camp → Glacier Terminus → Base Camp


  1. Morning tea and light breakfast at camp.
  2. Trek out to the glacier terminus, traversing moraines and blue-ice crevasses.
  3. Photo stop and packed lunch on the moraine.
  4. Informative glacier-side briefing on glaciology and safety protocols.
  5. Return trek back to Base Camp through the same moraine trail.
  6. Evening at leisure: journaling, stargazing under pristine skies.
  7. Dinner and debrief with your guide.


Day 3 – Base Camp → Jagatsukh → Manali


  1. Breakfast at Base Camp and striking of tents.
  2. Descend through alpine meadows and forest back to Jagatsukh trailhead.
  3. Transfer by vehicle to Manali, concluding the trek.
