Day 1: McLeod Ganj ➝ Triund (9,432 ft)


Trek Distance: ~9 km | Trek Duration: 5–6 hrs

  1. Assemble at McLeod Ganj early morning for briefing & gear check
  2. Begin trek through pine, rhododendron, and deodar forests
  3. Cross scenic viewpoints: Magic View Café, Gallu Devi Temple
  4. Reach Triund ridge with sweeping views of Dhauladhar range
  5. Sunset photography & evening bonfire under the stars

🏕 Stay: Dome tents at Triund campsite

🍽 Meals: Packed lunch + Dinner

✨ Highlights: Panoramic views, starlit skies, hot chai at 9,400 ft


Day 2: Triund ➝ Lahesh Cave (11,800 ft)


Trek Distance: ~6 km | Trek Duration: 4–5 hrs

  1. Wake up to sunrise over the Kangra valley
  2. Start trek towards Snowline & Ilaqa Got – shepherd grazing meadows
  3. Traverse rocky ridges & glacier-fed streams
  4. Reach Lahesh Cave, a natural rock shelter beneath Indrahar Pass

🏕 Stay: Camps near Lahesh Cave

🍽 Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

✨ Highlights: Alpine terrain, snow patches, solitude in high meadows


Day 3: Lahesh Cave ➝ Indrahar Pass (14,245 ft) ➝ Return to Ilaqa Got


Trek Distance: ~12 km round-trip | Trek Duration: 7–8 hrs

  1. Early alpine start (~4:30 am) to summit Indrahar Pass
  2. Steep ascent with snow/rock moraine sections
  3. Reach Indrahar Pass – dramatic view of Pir Panjal & Manimahesh Kailash
  4. Descend back to Ilaqa Got for overnight stay

🏕 Stay: Camp at Ilaqa Got

🍽 Meals: Breakfast + Packed lunch + Dinner

Day 4: Ilaqa Got ➝ McLeod Ganj


Trek Distance: ~12 km | Trek Duration: 5–6 hrs

  1. Leisurely descent via Triund & Bhagsu trail
  2. Optional detour to Bhagsunag waterfall
  3. Reach McLeod Ganj by late afternoon
  4. Departure or onward travel
